When shooting in Log formats. There used to be a little coloured square on screen that would add a colour lut / false colour to the live video feed. This was perfect for my camera ops / pilots to switch between exposure settings & then use the false colours to focus on composition while flying.

Please can you bring it back or tell me how to find it again?

the square is gone, unfortunately.

are you recording to SSD (what i assume)?

then you can switch the live feed look by setting the SD color to REC709 / LOG.

at least this is what my camera operator does. but it is no longer possible, to switch between flat / colored look while recording.

Nope, it doesnt. You can select the format for each storing device separately. When recording to SSD, the SD format is meant to be used as live feed setting (at least thats how understand it).
