UPDATE: My order status updated to SHIPPED sometime between 8AM and 9AM Eastern Time US Tuesday morning, and I appreciate that. To those who may have found themselves in the same situation as me, I hope that your order changes status soon. One thing for sure: DJI is listening, and that is good news for everyone.

DJI, my suggestion is to contact early purchasers and offer a different color that can ship right away rather than put our orders for RED on ice with no input, explanation or options.
I ordered a red Fly More Mavic Air before the presentation keynote was complete. ALL three colors showed an estimated delivery of 01-28. After contacting chat support, they say Feb 13, that the 28th was an ESTIMATE, and I could have ordered another color (WHICH I WOULD HAVE IF I HAD KNOWN THERE'D BE A DELAY ON RED!!!!!!).
If I hadn't contacted DJI, I would have never known there was a backorder or anything.
So, DJI, I am trying to turn my frustration into positivity and offer a suggestion that you offer an alternative color, or AT LEAST notify buyers (especially rabidly enthusiactic early ones) if there is a delay. You can get red paint at the Walmart, but you can't get a Mavic Air.
