No, in fact, pure coincidence in such bright sunny, snowy days my glasses got really dark and I barely see my iPad so I went up and descent back filming (also wind was hard and I was in a hurry ), but it just happened this guy to became "subject" of my "story"

What I do search best-looking spots and cut 4 sec slices all the rest delete (fighting internally with the desire to show All the marvel ) when finished (usually 1-2 minutes clip) choosing soundtrack with close enough length and speed ... and voila

Yes, I know that process also.
And it is killing me sometimes.
Although it does depend on the subject.
I'm having less 'pain' leaving out some part of an aerial shot  than when I have to cut out part of an approaching train that is very beautifully framed.
I think that is because it has a beginning and an end (the passage itself) and it feels unnatural to leave parts out.
Just look at the first train shot here. I cut out a part.


And here I also did my best to keep it short...

Sort of.
But still it was 14min...

Maybe I have to cut them in pieces, although I'm not sure if that will work.
At least it still feels unnatural.

But then again: never too old to learn
