Just received the Spark Fly combo.  Cooling fan worked on initial startup but after upgrading to firmware 01.00.0900 the cooling fan does not work.

Try: Do the update again

S-e-ven,  I did and the update took and the fan still doesn't work (almost to hot to touch).  I even went and downgraded firmware to .0800 and then back to .0900.

I'm also getting: Barometer Data Error / Aircraft Encoder Error / Navigation System Error

Where did you purchase it from? If you can return/exchange it, that's what I'd do.

Send it in before it ends up looking like one of those Hoverboards

Good choice. Especially since it is brand new, who knows what internal components overheated, etc.

Not sure if you have Amazon Prime, but they have Used - Like New on the warehouse. These are usually factory sealed but the box is dented (that's how I bought mine and it was factory sealed). https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer- ... all&mv_style_name=2

I figured it was an easy gamble, since it was from the Amazon Warehouse, returns are super easy.

Elektra, unit has been sent back to vendor, hopefully I can get a replacement OR my money back.

Hello every one, a few days ago,  my DJI Spark fell out of the sky (battery fell off) and now on start up, the cooling fans make a sound as if they were jammed or somthing is stuck inside. Someone please help. Thanks!

The best advice would be to send it for repairs. If you are so inclined you could remove the top and see if the fan is rubbing on something.
