Hi everyone. My firm is considering buying the Mavic Air for a backup/travel drone. Currently, we have a P4P that we use for single family home inspections and condo complexes. The owner wants us to have a backup drone. Would a Mavic Air be able to perform roof inspections, and create orthomosiacs?

Yes. As you probably already know, the Mavic's photographic capabilities aren't quite on par with the P4P, but in general there's no reason you couldn't accomplish the same thing with a Mavic.

I think it would be a good choice back up.
