Does anybody know what is the AE with a lock doing in the DJI Pilot app?! App is 1.0.10.. FW is 1.2.1.0..

AE stands for AutoExposure, you can lock it, or let it adjust itself all the time.

You will keep the exposure you had at the time you press it, no more no less.
Not an expert, but I use it only for still pictures.

Use it like this ... (If you don't wanna mess arround with manual settings).

Home in to the key object in the scene that you are going to shoot ... Let the auto adjustments do it's thing ... Then lock this setting ...
Now ISO and SHUTTER will keep this setting until you unlock it again ...  (even if you turn the camera straight towards the sun).
EV will how ever go nuts when you start moving the camera aim arround but you don't have to think about that as your key object will be correctly exposed ...
