Hello everyone,

Considering I spend a lot of time online looking for accessories for my Inspire, I think a dedicated thread for Inspire 1 Accessories will help some users of this forum to save some time and compare fast different products.
I will start this thread with a post regarding all hard custom Inspire 1 cases available at the moment, I will update the post when new products will be available.
In this way we can have all hard custom cases manufacturers in one thread, easy to compare and test online.

European customers should check HPRC & MC-CASES, they are the only manufacturers, from the list below, located in Europe

In the following days I will add new posts for Soft/Backpacks Inspire 1 Solution, ND Filters, LUTs, Trackers etc.

Most of the Inspire 1 cases available now support Travel Mode, the only Landing Mode cases are made by GoProfessional, Drone Armour and Tradecraftcases, I also received an e-mail from HPRC, they informed me a Landing mode case is in development. Also the CaseClub case seems to be Landing Mode compatible, but I’m not sure, it has to be checked with the company.

Just updated the Hard Custom Cases post with a new link to TRADECRAFTCASES, they also have a Landing Mode case available, also they have an interesting accessory for Inspire 1, first of its kind, called Inspire 1 Quickstrap, really nice idea for transporting your Inspire between close landing sites.

GETTERBACK Retrieval System. For those eager to fly over water and *knock on wood* dont anticipate going for a dip but somehow end up doing exactly that, this allows you to retrieve it so you can get some pride back. 100ft kevlar line attached to a float releases when water soluble tape dissolves

on another note, defintely looking forward to a compilation of hike friendly/soft backpacks for day travels and such. dont really like the idea of the frames that carry the entire case

Below you will find information about the major manufactureurs of Inspire Compatible trackers, a must accesorry in every pilot's gear, considering the dreaded fly-away situation.

There are a lot of gps trackers available on the market, I tried to select only the models specifically designed for UAV industry, light design, easy to install etc.
Also some of the gps trackers available on the market do not have a brand behind, an official website, a customer service departement, so I decided to mention only the serious players available at the moment.

P.s we all have favourite brands, favourite accesories, but the purpose of this thread is to have all the Inspire 1 accesories manufactureurs mentioned objectively, without personal favors, on separate sections, so every pilot can do his own research fast, in order to choose his favourite piece of gear.
For example, from the trackers mentioned above, some people think Marco Polo is a better solution , as it does not require GSM connection, other think a GSM tracker like Trackimo is better as it offers more protection on longer distance flights etc.
It's up to you to decide, as every pilot has diferrent flight plans, some fly most of the time in urban areas, other are enjoying their birds exclusively in remote areas, so you should choose carefully the tracker suitabie for your actions.
I will also post my personal list of gear, but only after I will consider my Inspire 1 accesories research is complete, and that will definitely take some time

If you have nightmares with your Inspire 1 falling from the sky, maybe you should check the links below.
Even if you're a very optimistic pilot, you should know that a parachute is mandatory in some countries if you're doing commercial aerial works.
Not so many options available at the moment, but it should offer you some peace of mind and secure a smooth landing.

P.s If you have heart problems, be careful when you access the Flying Eye website, the price of their parachute might cause you a sudden panic attack
However, the Flying Eye parachute is the first one created exclusively for Inspire 1, so you should definitely have a look, as the design and concept are really well made, hopefully somebody in China reads this post too

P.s B&W has various sizes for their Back Pack System, it was designed to fit their different cases, just look online for B&W BPS 60, this is the model that will fit your DJI case.

Hi mani I'm having an issue with links so have changed it now

I was planning to get Spot GEN3 a couple of years ago, for my kayak trips, due to its waterproof design, than I decided to go with DeLorme inReach Explorer.
I think SPOT products are more orientated to expedition use, sattelite communication in remote areas, where there is no phone/gprs coverage.
But SPOT Trace it might work on Inspire, it's not too heavy and the supscription plan not very expensive.
Let me know after you use it, be very careful where you attached it, keep it at least 12 inches from Inspire 1 gps sensor, as SPOT  is well known as a little but very powerful gps receiver.

I am planning on fixing it to the underside under the battery or remove the AC tag and fit in its place?

And to avoid interference I would set it to 30 minute intervals on sending the location via email and sms and after a battery change switch it off and on so I have a time slot of the 30 minutes before it sends its location, what do you think ?

NECK STRAPS / RC SUPPORT

If you look online for a good solid neck strap to protect & support your precious Inspire controller, the options are limited and some of the products available are just cheap lanyards.
There are some good professional RC neck straps available ( to be added to this section later) but today I suggest a different approach.
During my last rehearsal ( when I am not flying, I am a musician) I realised that the neck strap used by my saxophone player should be a great solution to support the Inspire's RC.
A professional saxophone, like Selmer for example, costs a few thousand dollars, therefore the neck straps developed for sax players are carefully design to offer protection & support for extended period of times.
You don't want a tired sax player on stage, and last but not least you don't want to see that expensive instrument on the floor.
So I decided to test my colleague's sax strap with my controller and they work perfect.
He is using a NEOTECH tenor sax straps, but below you will find major producers for saxophone neck straps.

There are other several other good brands like Protec, Zappatini, Dave Guardala, Ergonomic Systems, Airmusic or Schwarz, unfortunately could not find their official website, however the easiest way to choose your favourite neck strap for Inspire 1 controller is to visit one of the largest musical stores online, like Thomann, Sweetwater, Musician's friend etc, select wind instruments category, and look for "neck straps for saxophones" section.

Awesome concept from Droneland, they even offer the possibility to engrave your custom logo on the inside foam of the case.
The price is high, it seems to be the most expensive case so far, but considering it's a 100% flight mode case you should have a look.
