Today my drone came back from a flight bat one peace is missing.
Nothing else to see or no other damage on the drone.
Just this corner is broken???

Can I leave it so or where can I order this part and can I replace it myself?

It should be fine without it and not worth sending back just for that if you can't find the part. I would suggest keeping it well from water and moisture as the internals are even more exposed now.

I have order the part by Amazon, its looks well to do the replace by yourself.

Yes in flight bat i don’t know how it happen, see it when the MP was on the ground.
Nothing else to see on the MP.
Idd a strange place where its broken.

Hi DJI Mindy,

I know about the warranty bat sending will take too long and I do not see that DJI will do this under warranty.
I have no further damage on the drone, so for this time I will use it like this.
Bat I have order this upper shell part in case of, I don’t think that this broken corner will have a problem to fly the MP.

It is a strange place to been broken, this happen in a normal flight.

Just take the propeller off, no damaged on top site bat some damaged on down site.

I am just guessing the a possible explanation.

If the arm was not fully extended and the drone was for example in some wind or with sport mode the propeller bend could hit that part. It is hard to say by your second photo.

They have a spring so they should lock into place even not fully extended. This is not supposed to happen but I am just guessing one explanation.

1) Not fully extended leg.
2) Sport mode or wind bends the propeller down and it hits its own body breaking that part.

Chances of these 2 events happening is probably really low. I personally check very carefully that the legs are fully extended before flying.

Another possibility involves some object hitting the drone mid-flight in that part. BB gun? a rock?

I check the arms before every flight and i can say the arms are in place and fully extended.
There was some wind this day bat not too much to fly.
Maybe something hit the done is a possibility, but I don’t know for sure.
