i must say that i am really disapointed in da jiang innavations.


when i bought my tiny drone (mavic pro is how they call it), i was said that i woud get range of 7 kilomtrs and fligt time of 27


i unboxed tiny drone

i downloaded app

i paid big money


and when weather finally behaved correctly, i flew it. to my big surprise, i drone lost connection after 5 kilometrs. FIVE kilometers. that is ONLY 71.42857142857143% of the said flight time!!  if u do the math, that is 28,57142857142857% LESS than the said flight time.


i thought to myself, mast be some kind of faulty unit. i dont relly need 7 kilomtrs anyway so i did not mind the problem.


many and a one day later, i test flite time when weather behaves correctly. i fly

drone lands at 25 minutes! that is MUCH less than said FLITE TIME OF 27 MINUTES


thought nothing of it "oh well, just a technolgy problem" i said to my self



day later, i take off with "technology" drone and want to reach high attitude

at 400 feet, remote controller becomes agressive. she screams that my attitude is too high and i think she also says that i am not good person


nobody EVER insulted me in all my life, and a dumb computer shuldnt judge me and INSULT me. my ATTITUDE IS PERFECTLY FINE. i am grown up adult and a tiny computer should know that i am responseble person.



i thought nothing of it "not's dji's faults if computer is rude" i said to my self.

Hi there, the specs of the max flight distance and max flight time on the official website are the laboratory data which come from the very good condition. The drone might reach to 7Km in FCC in unobstructed, free of interference environment. The max flight time is flying in no wind at a consistent 15.5 mph (25 kph) condition, flight time might vary from the wind, temperature, flight speed etc.. Thank you for your understanding and support.

"Under ideal conditions" means:
1. Drone fully gased up with premium never used before battery attached
2. Zero wind OR tailwind that changes and follows you everywhere
3. No energy sucking camera must be used - thats cheating!
4. Temperature 17,7654 Celsius
4. All GNSS systems available in your area. That means GPS+GLONASS+Galileo+BeiDou+QZSS...no cheating allowed!
5. Minimum 45 satellites locked in

If above is met you get promised flyingtime and distance waaaah

I don't make fun of non English speaking people when they butcher the language, at least they speak more than one, and may have mastered their own. When a person from the US does it, it's HILARIOUS! Wow - this is getting difficult. To me it's almost unclear whether you ONLY make fun, if you really DO have problems or you contain so much restraint that you write about your problems in a very humorous way.

One thing is for sure though. When you do not face the person (all of us) you talk to, but instead write to the person (all of us), you may be misunderstood. My point is that it is best to keep things separate. Be fun or serious, but not both at the same time.

Hahahaha - I'm sure he is. I know he loves DJI from other posts and can't get enough of the brand and he adores his Mavic.

lol, I think you should send the drone to DJI, mavic shouldn't fly that far in most cases! It must be a faulty drone.

It seems that there's one of this person every week or so who has the same "problem" who thinks that their drone can fly 7 km for 27 minutes.

my hyundai tucson consistently got me 2-3 L/100km better than the sticker, especially after i put on better tires... it got a lot worse if it was into a headwind.

my new jeep wrangler gets better as well ,  so does my girlfriend's new cherokee.

we may drive nicely and get better economy, but it can be done.  no matter how nice we fly the drones they always fall short   

but I never complained because it was to be expected from the first time i ever heard of my p3p.  

if everything worked as they stated, i would have 4 drones not 1

Living in the US now doesn't mean one always lived there. My guess is OP is not a native english speaker. If I had to guess, I'd say he/she hails from somewhere in the former USSR?

Anyway, the language choice somehow gives me that impression as I associate this kind of sardonic humor with folks from that part of the world.
