I've lost the gimble lock, do I require this for transport while riding on rough trails sledding? If so, where can I get a replacement?

Contact a dealer, it might be a spare part. Maybe someone can 3D print one

It's used to protect the gimbal by holding it firmly in place whenever the drone is not in use - also vital for putting on and taking off ND filters. You surprisingly can't buy them on the DJI on line store but there are 3D alternative designs on places like Amazon. I highly suggest you get one as a new gimbal will cost you hundreds to repair!

Yup looks exactly the same, I think I paid like $4.99 USD with shipping from US based seller. Had it 3-4 days.

Then there are a couple to give away to my drone friends.

If you have a Best Buy Store nearby, they have PolarPro locks in stock.. or usually do..

No problem, nothing touches the front of the camera, the 2 slots slide onto the backside of the gimbal and lock it as you clip it in. I leave my filter(s) on while transporting.

Polar pro has great replacement.  You can keep filters on with this lock/ cover.  I have it on both my mavics
