Agreed recalibrate, also check gimbal cable and make sure it’s seated properly.

I think that isn't just a slight alignment issue needing a quick cal of the gimbal - that is quite a serious malfunction.
I'd suggest refreshing the FW and resetting the camera then calibrate the gimbal and reconfigure your camera settings and ensure the gimbal is seated correctly. Not sure if you are using ND filters too but take them off and buy lighter ones if so. If this continues to happen after that then you will need to ship it back to DJI.

A CW,
Thanks for the reply,
I agree, I doubt this is a simple re-cal issue.
I am not using a filter.
I was hoping to avoid updating the FW
I really don't like the current FW with the "Sport Mode"
notification window and all the random warnings.
I only have 11 flights on this thing.
Im going to call DJI today and see what they say.
Ill update this thread.

I would advise doing an IMU calibration and gimbal calibration to see if this helps.

So I just called DJI Support,
I was advised to;

#1...Using DJI Assistant reset to factory default,
#2...Update to current FW (not too happy bout that),
#3...Calibrate the IMU,
#4...Calibrate the gimbal,
#5...Swing the compass,

Ill let you guys know how it goes after several flights.

Were you able to resolve your issue?  I had the same problem with my mavic pro at or near the same time as you, after a firmware update even though mine had no history of crashes or problems but for when I updated my drone.
I was advised by DJI to send it in for diagnostic and repair but after receipt and a call, DJI conceded no diagnostics but that they default to replacing the Flexible Flat Cable (quote for repair is $133--$3 for the cable but $130 for a two hour repair) no matter if it was your fault or the firmware's fault--and of course at your cost.

In hindsight, I should have troubleshot it by rolling back to an earlier firmware or waited for a new firmware.  I am currently waiting for a call from a supervisor from DJI repair. Please also refer to my thread Gimbal Overload and DJI Repair USeless.

I provided a video sample on my thread and it is similar to yours (https://forum.dji.com/thread-132292-1-1.html).

Weirdly enough, everytime I get a response on my thread, my thread never appears in the 1st page of the forum.  I’ve scoured at least 5 pages of threads, and I have not seen my thread go back to the beginning of the forum page even when someone just responded to my thread 5 minutes ago.  It’s almost like my thread and this issue is being purposefully buried …

Here's a list of all other gimbal related issues on around the same time frame as ours (most are Mavics, but there are some that are phantoms I think, but if it is a firmware issue, it could affect all the other drone platforms):

https://forum.dji.com/thread-131709-1-4.html

https://forum.dji.com/thread-132496-1-4.html

By the way, I didn't go all FBI to get this list.  This was a 2 minute key search for gimbal related problems, so this is not just an isolated problem.

I am aware this is an on going issue,
However I wanted to call DJI Support and go through
their steps for troubleshooting, this way there will be no
question on a warranty repair.
I've had my Mavic for 73 days,  I'm still within warranty so
Im not worried about a cost for repair.
This afternoon I'll go through the steps I've outlined in post #11,
Weather permitting I'll fly several flights, all with the vid camera
on as to capture this gimbal problem if it pops up again.
Ill update as soon as I know something.

Good thing you are still within warranty--glad to hear it.  Although it's a known ongoing issue, DJI definitely doesn't seem to think so, or even acknowledge it.  If it's the Flexible Flat Cable issue,  it's a junk part or poorly designed, I think a lot of our drones are soon to experience problems with plenty just outside of the warranty or after the DJI Care Refresh expires (mine expired a month before my problems).  Definitely think this issue needs to be at the forefront of the forum for everyone to see.

The DJI suggested fix I posted in post #11 did fix the gimbal freaking out,
However after a dozen flights I still have the video glitch / jello problem.
I called DJI back and they authorized a return for warranty repair.
I sent it off this morning.
If anyone is interested see video below for the glitch / jello problem,
Look at 2:19, 2:38 and 3:37

As stated in post #15,
I sent my Mavic in for repair,
Turn around time including shipping was 9 days, very impressive.
I received a new Mavic body, no statement about what was wrong with the one
I sent in, just a new body. Ok Im fine with that.
I spent several minutes going thru all the settings, I swung the compass and did the
IMU cal and gimbal cal.
Unfortunately its wicked windy here so Ill have to wait to fly it.
I plan to get 50 or 60 minutes of video over 10 or 12 flights,
Ill post when I have determined if the jello is gone or not.
