For some reason I thought air flyers would be much younger

33 and this is my 4th drone but my first DJI.

83, started with Parrot, joined DJI with P3 Pro, Mavic Pro, Spark and Mavic Air. Appear to be oldest DRONER?????

You are all kids, I am just getting ready to turn 83 and am flying almost every day  both magic air and my solo and FPV

Just a youngster at only 48 here.  I started flying RC Helis, then quads, a Yuneec drone, and finally my newest DJI MA.

At this point 122 respondents averaged at 48.1 years.

32 and already sent my drone in for replacement.

26. I actually expected that the average would be in the 40s but I can't explain why it is like that.

45.  Mavic Air is my first drone.  Will not be my last....

61 with 4 drones...DJI and Yuneec.  I am surprised that this age groups comprises >18. % .  Thought the younger ages would overwhelm us grandpa's.

I am also kinda surprised at the General age group replying to this thread. I did expect to see a lot more of the younger crowd. I’m in the middle at 41 and this is number 4 for the dji drones.

47.1 At the beginning, Syma drones - flight training flight, then DJI f450 Naze hand-made, then 2 racing drones self-assembled and programmed (next 2 are waiting for construction). The last Air Mavic I love.

I am 39 and just started flying less then a year ago.

I am 33. Mavic air my second drone.

I’m 27 and my baby mavic Air is my first drone

I am 21.  Oh wait I think I already told the truth here

What is the objective of this post? Men are like boys, the only difference while growing up is the price of the toys...

But the price is relative to the time so basically the $1 it costed back then is the same $100 as now ;)

Enthusiastic: having or showing intense and eager enjoyment, interest, or approval. I still feel all of those things, but alas not 30 , but my enthusiasm still remains, can’t saythe same for my hair. Lol

Not the oldest, nor the youngest... Bought this thing for photography and video, and because it looked to be a good value.  It's interesting...

47 I started flying last Christmas and have 5 drones by now the Mavic Air being the latest. The Inspire or Phantom will be the next.... After I sell everything I own.

50 with my first drone.  Absolutely love it and amazed with all of the technolgy squeezed in.

53, first drone since 1 week / 3 flights with the Air. I love it

31. On the Demographic of Mavic Air flyers, and maybe this applies to all drones pilots, I have no idea. But I think it takes a certain curiosity and dedication that a younger individual just doesn't posses. Plus it's not as if these things are cheap. I mean by the time you get a setup that's worth flying for any amount of time you've spent nearly $1000USD on the thing.  20 something me would have blown a grand on literally anything else and probably did.

55 this Aug, on 4th drone, have flown heli's some years now too!! Love all the tech in these DJI "toys" (not) but, it could turn into the monster within if they aren't careful, too many bells and whistles can be a nightmare depending, been there done that!!

BTW hallmark, I worked just south (Minden/Gardenerville) of your way for GE (computer/firmware engineer) few years back. Besides Tahoe, Kingsbury over the Carson valley would be a nice flight..........less the gale force winds usually there that is.

First drone ever. I do have bags and bags full of camera equipment, go pros for snorkelling, and just to show how bad as$$ i am, i also have various petrol and rc cars............(that my son now use mostly.....
I refuse to grow (c)old.Would that make me the oldest female drone flyer around?

I want to know if you are on your 9th drone.... what happened to the other 8?....

There is two 83 year olds it seem. So you are just missing out sir, but still very impressive.

36. Owned 4 drones.

51 ,,4 drones but this is my  First proper Drone but been flying rc aircraft for many years.

I'll be 21 in October.  Have a MA and P4 Pro

35, dont have mavic air but i really wanted to participate
I have a dji spark (first drone) and a yuneec typhoon q500+ (second drone)
