Wow that’s massive, it wouldn’t have looked out of place in Harry Potter, thanks for sharing.

What a fantastic collection of buildings. All going to rack and ruin now no doubt?  What a waste. Thanksa

Dale ... as a Brit and my Father passing his last years in N. Wales .....

Denbigh Assylum as it was locally known will most likely be demolished. Repeated attempts to purchase / renovate have been hampered by 'arson' attempts, along with dereliction which finally have brought about questions of viability.

The funds needed to convert to apartments as previously envisaged are far too high now ... given the dereliction and arson that has occured.

Dale - I rarely see a video here that causes me to shed a tear, to wish something could be done  ... but your rendering of Denbigh surpasses many for me.

Not only the passing of magnificent architecture - but the souls and suffering of those who spent their lives there. Nurses and Patients.

Thank you Dale for at least preserving something of Denbigh.

Nigel - who could never create a video like this !

Great location and video.  Always bothers me to see such beautiful buildings come to ruin.  Very interesting website you linked to as well with a lot of excellent photos of other buildings.  Thanks for posting.

Very atmospheric! And a nice touch to use the "Silent Witness" theme.

Very haunting and imposing looking building - one can only imagine what happened to people in there! Nice capture of a fading history. Great vid.
