Hey there! I'm having a bit of a problem stitching my 360 degree panoramas on my PC, to be exact using Microsoft ICE. The stitched panoramas aren't 360, they're missing their bottom, and are distorted when viewed. The panorama stitched by the DJI GO app is perfectly fine.

The one you can see on the left is the one stitched by the DJI app, the one on the right is stitched by ICE. Their aspect ratios are different as well, the one stitched by DJI is 2:1, but the one stitched by ICE is 6656:2421. I've read that the height needs to be half of the width, but when I go to change the height in ICE it just sets it back the instant I press Enter. And besides, the bottom of the image is still missing:

That is as low as the ICE one (right) lets me look.

What settings should I use to stitch panoramas correctly?

Tiny planets are coming along very well, just not the 360° panoramas  ;)

Very nice!
Sorry for not helping!  ;-)

Ok, the ICE-Panos are 'coming' in ~8:3, instead of 2:1(8:4)
That is because you can't capture he sky above your drone!
For VR Websites/tools, you need to add sky, that you get the 2:1 ratio
If it is blue in blue, I copy the 8:3 pic in a 8:4 new empty picture
Then I mark top parts of the sky and copy past it and stretch it to the needed size
Other getting sky pictures from some free websites and adding them on top.
I am lazy ;-)

Forgot:
This guy is making more sky:

Instead of increasing the sky portion of the image, I've used the Paint program (on Windows) to increase the vertical dimension so that the aspect ratio is 2:1

Open the exported JPG in Paint, select Resize, By Pixels, Uncheck "Maintain aspect ratio" and change the Vertical pixels to be half of the Horizontal pixels.

In order for the picture to be recognized as a 360 panorama in Google Photos, I found I had to use a tool that added the metadata to the image: http://panoramaphotographer.com/software/exiffixer/

Thanks for all the help!
A content-aware fill did it the best for me.

What I just noticed is that using this method, you get a lot more resolution than the DJI app stitching. +1 to that

Yeah, that's why it's worth the hassle to stitch manually. 4096x2048 by DJI GO, 19968x9984 with ICE
