Flying the spark today for the first time in about a week. When i pit it away everything was working perfectly. Today i can take a video and the video will store, but when i try to take a picture nothing happens (picture button is light grey on screen). I have also re installed the app but it has not fixed the issue.

Any suggestions?

You are in sport mode or forgot the sd card?

It won't switch to photo mode with a weak signal

I was not in sport mode when trying to take a picture. Videos are saving perfectly but pictures will not work. App says i have all the latest firmware. Signal seems ok and not dropping?

it seems you cant take a still when recording, we have stop what were doing and switch between the both.

Have tried that but picture button is light grey and nothing happens!!

i thought the same at first but when in editor mode mine defaults to video and photos are under a different menu.  just an idea, not trying to be condescending in any way.

Do you mean editor mode when in flight??

Weird. When I go to take a picture mine take 2 instead of one for some reason.

no, later on from the phone.

Have tried swapping again between video and picture mode and still nothing. Videos are still taking perfectly but camera will not take anything for a picture!!
