I just got the phantom 3 standards. I have taken it on a couple of short flights and I then decide to take it on a long flight. I go about 700 feet and then my screen goes black and it says RC lost connections, then it starts to return home. I thought this was weird so the next day I flight it again and go about 700 feet and then again I lose connections and my screen goes black and it returns home. How do I fix this problem? I need help.

Your environment has  lot to do with this.  That distance is normal for the P3 in urban, low level  areas, with lots of trees.

What was the altitude over ground and what area was your fly field ? 213 meters are not so far.

About 80feet high and my flight field were over houses.

Fly the next time in that area more than 25 meters (80 feet) then the signal shadow of the houses are not so notable. Mostly i fly i that sort of area more than 50 meters in height and have full signal up to 350 - 400 meters.

Hello Anahoo, it is recommended to fly in an open place without interference. Also, adjust the antennas and make sure the maximum receiving surface will be received.

I had a flight in a free area in a city and my system had interferences but the control and image transmission was normal,nothing to scare about. The distance was 350 meters without any loss of any signal. The height over ground was nearly 70 meters. For the P3S is it fully ok,it had no obstacles from the RC to the AC in any time. Some times in do test in extreme conditions (WIFI and control EM) So i can help to observe fire fighters can  do their work better .
