Hey friends...  I captured a stunning sunset panoramic over our local lake harveston last night.  Took a very brief 4k video of the flight, which I did slight color grading on.  The Mavic Air is a pretty solid machine and definitely makes running out to capture a sunset last minute a very pleasing task   What do you think?

Yes, I think the noise in my earlier footage may have been due to higher shutter speeds and less than favorable lighting conditions.  Going to purchase some ND filters for those shooting conditions.  Here at sunset where the shutter speeds are lower, things turned out quite excellent in 4k

But I don't know it all
At least nice you get this kind of footage.

I am though curious how it will hold when you film something that has a lot of fine detail in it. I am still thinking it is some compression you get.
So like a green forest or grass field, or brick walls etc.

I’m trying some different settings for color too, with a bit less sharpness and contrast.  Absolutely want to try in a variety of lighting conditions before my return period is up. Everything else is working perfectly though, so I’m hesitant to start over with a new drone

Lovely video and photo.  I haven't done much night shooting, and the couple that I did turned out bad.  I'll have to practice more to catch up to you.  However, in the foreground of both the video and the photo, I think there is a large and visible leak in the river.

Haha, thanks so much for the kind compliment.  Yes, that lake definitely has a "leak"   I thought it made for a more interesting composition to see those lines leading you into the frame.   Good luck with your future night shooting!

I'm sure they will - it's a new product with scope for a lot of FW updates over the coming months.
