I have a CS but can't use it with MA I'm considering getting a used iPad Mini until DJI gets their act together but I have never used an Apple pruduct. My question is, how viewable is the iPad Mini's screen on a sunny day?
Not really that viewable, you may need a hood, the Mini 4 is only 450nits
In comparison clockwise, Ipad 5th Gen 9.7in, Ipad Pro 10.5in, Ipad Mini 4 8in, CS Ultra 7.85 - all at max brightness
You shouldn’t have to invest in anything, this is now becoming a real problem with dji and Crystalsky, we are just looking for an update on the software which is now running months behind iOS and Android updates, we paid good money for a product that is slowly becoming unusable, and the fact that no mod has come anywhere near these threads shows that we are not even being considered by dji to get this matter sorted out.
I don't have a Samsung Note 8 to compare, but I can honestly say that when I power up my Ultra-bright indoors I actually have to turn down the brightness.

Samsung 8 might not quite match the 2000nit of the Ultrabright but if IIRC it's 1250nits compared to the CS bright of 1000nits which I have & is bright enough for me.
Sorry about this. Our engineers are working on the compatibility issue. We will release on our website if there is any update. Appreciate your patience.

It's the word "if" in this statement from DJI admin that really worries me.
