How do you control the gimbal so it pans left and right.  The control for the gimbal on the left of the controller seems to just pan it up and down, and the right hand dial changes the exposure setting.

Is there a control for panning the gimbal left and right on the controller?

I would presume to pan left and right you would move the P3 itself to rotate left and right, would have the same effect.  I don't think the camera pans in all directions?

It was touted as one of the major differences between the 2 and 3.  

Why would you do that?  You'd just get a good view of the legs and it is just as easy to move the P3.

That would be the first Ive heard of that....Maybe hes got the P3 confused with the inspire
