Mavic Air: Question to all you Android users out there, when you connect your phone to the remote, which option do you choose when andriod asks which connection type it is? Charge only, Power supply, transfer files or use device in MIDI? (Text is in Swedish, but its the same order top down as i wrote it here)

never asked me. The first time while configuring I connected the USB cable from remote, opened the go4 app and configured it from there. My android never popped the question. After that every time I reconnect it just opens the go4 app on its own, no pop ups. I use an s8 plus.

You don't have to make a choice. Just let it be default, "Ladda enheten".

I've tried the option 'reversed charging' since my phone has an usb-c connection. Didn't work sadly...
So now I just leave it on charging only.

I wanted to try to just do midi, so the controller DIDN'T charge my phone (draining the controller battery), but no matter what I press, it reverts back to the top option and charges my phone. Gonna have to cut a wire in the cable to bypass charging I think...

I wonder if cutting the + wire will do the trick. That would be a nice upgrade cable

Hi there.
Actually, you can choose default setting and you can check if your RC recognizes your mobile device. As long as they have connected, please don't worry, they will work fine.
If you have further questions, please feel free to contact us. Thank you.

DJI should supply a non charging cable with the RC for Android users.
