Hey there!

I've been using my spark for a few days now and Everytime I try to take a picture it never saves to my phone. I have an SD card it an it loads to the SD card just fine but, nothing to my phone. This is only a problem for pictures though as videos save to my phone fine.

Does anyone have any suggestions to why this is? It's a little frustrating to say the least.

If I'm not mistaken, the images are saved in the app's cache. You access them through the Edit option in the app, where you can save them to the phone's memory.  

Use dji go 4 to download them to your personal device

They should be on the phone.. but they are not in the same place as the videos for some reason.. look at the top of that screen for a photo album button.

without transfering /copying them actively to your device, you will get only cacheed pictures/videos to your phone.
The vids are 720 stream, the pictures only thumbnails.
All of 'the good stuff', 1080p and 4000x3000pix is on the SD card

Orben, can you find the cache pictures in the playback or editor? If you want to save the original one, I would recommend you export them from the SD card. Then you can transfer them to your phone. Thanks for your support.

The photos and videos from your phone should be on the app's cache. Access it through the editor>album>photos

The edit option in the app? I've explored a good bit in the app and have yet to find this option. Would you mind directing me to it?

Yea I agree that's where they should be but mines just not there. I've redownload the app but to no avail.

In the photo section nothing is popping up

Oh, I just see that the Go4 Gallery looks a lot like the Xiaomi one

It's the Editor tab at the bottom of the screen. It sends you to where you can view or edit videos, create movies, etc.

VERY STRANGE

click the top left icon with the arrow on the piece of paper with the drone on and the rc select sd card and youll see what you recorded and can download them from there

Please provide the firmware of your drone and the version of your app. Please ensure that when you record the video, your RC is connected with phone. Thanks for your support.

I'm having same issue as OP. Its a problem with you software you need to fix.

Since DJI Go 2.20 it is not saving my videos to the phone - settings are the same as before.
