What’s New?

• Fixed an issue where the photos captured in JPEG and RAW format cannot be downloaded.
  

This firmware is also an update for DJI Goggles:

• Added support for the Mavic Air.
• Added Heading Tracking support for the Mavic Air (please update the Mavic Air’s remote controller firmware version to 01.00.0100 or later).
• Added support for capturing and viewing Pano photos.
• Added support for playing back and downloading photos and videos captured by the Mavic Air.
  

Notes:

• Restart the aircraft and remote controller after the update is complete.
• If the firmware update fails, please restart the aircraft and relaunch DJI GO 4 and retry.
• Please note that the firmware update may reset various Main Controller Settings, such as the RTH Altitude and Maximum Flight Distance, to factory defaults. Before the update, take note of your preferred DJI GO 4 settings, and readjust them after the update to suit your preference.
• If the firmware update fails, restart aircraft, remote controller and DJI GO 4 or DJI Assistant 2, and retry.
  

  

      

After updating the DJI GO4 app and my Spark and mavic pro, the "intelligent flight modes" d'oenst appeers.

On forums index there's also a Post with title "Mavic Air new FW"
I presume that there should be some mistake and believe that Air & Pro do not run with same FW.

Not worth updating nothing good added, will stay on the old .100 firmware its reliable.

wow what a let down. First it was the DJI Go 4 app with nothing for the Mavic Pro/Plat with 4.2.6 and now new firmware with nothing really except for photo format.

Also no new devices that DJI says is compatable with the Mavic -Air. This is crazy to have to exclude the Air since they are both different but in the same subforum in my post here..........

Still no fix for sharpness/noise reduction? :_(

Will stay on 4.1.0100 and 4.18 at least it work ok.

it seems that DJI no longer invests in Mavic Pro. Just in Mavic Air. I think every MP owner must stay on the most stable firmware until it changes to a newer model (mavic air .. or what we will get in the future)

it seems that DJI no longer invests in Mavic Pro. Just in Mavic Air. I think every MP owner must stay on the most stable firmware until it changes to a newer model (mavic air .. or what we will get in the future)

On my case after I doing a clean installation and not use anymore the DJI GO to update the firmware, all works well with 4.2.4 and 01.04.0200 / S8+ Android 7.0 ( https://forum.dji.com/forum.php? ... ;page=11#pid1174984 ) Now I already updated to testing 4.2.6 and 01.04.0300, but I know that this is very specific of how works in each phone model, software, etc. I cross my fingers...

I activated my new Mavic Platinum and update the DJI Go-4 app and the firmware too.  I'll be trying out this weekend and hopefully all will be great!

I was hoping DJI would have admitted they screwed the previous update up and would have mentioned the disconnecting issue was fixed ... I am not so keen to update after very bad experience with the V01.04.0200. I fly successfully on the V01.04.0100.

Ditto +10, V01.04.0200 lost me more improvements that it was supposed to fix. No Quickshots, no Dynamic home point no Pano mode.
And now no more Mavic Pro as the Obstacle Avoidance also failed, A/C now at DJI Agents for repair.
NO NOT UPDATE unless it is absolutely necessary, is my advice.

Just updated to latest FW for both RC and AC via Assistant 2. First flight no issues with app-disconnections. Will post here if any issues arise. Everything seems to be back to usual (hopefully)

But hey, DJI... ! When will finally be a French version of DJI GO on Android ? ;)

Complaining when updates are carried out.
Complaining by people who don't update.

Complaining that DJI are now ignoring Mavic Pro...... I wonder why

Mavic Pro users are not asking for much but a stable update that does not cause issues with their investment when we take it out to fly. an update is supposed to fix issues, bugs and add enhancements and not cause more issues and disconnection problems.

I had the same issue after the firmware update for my Mavic Pro. The Intelligent flight button disappeared.

Wrong, complain when updates either don't work or cause more problems then they are supposed to fix!

I've put MP in the air after the last update. He started climbing up alone without commanding anything from the joystick! I pulled down the joystick and stopped ... then I landed at home ... urgently. everything is ok ... maybe wind ... maybe software bugs. for now they can not fly because of the situation in the area. Airspace is closed Israel

Correct, the last 2 firmware updates were not worth updating and I am staying on the 0100 firmware. there has been to many issues with the updates. Any ways people come on this forum to either compliment, complain, post footage or get advise so if you dont like to see complaints then........

Any ways the feedback from the guys that have updated already is enough, YOU see the comments above BUGS IN FIRMWARE so we have TO COMPLAIN

Just updated my mpp and did test fly , so far no issues. See all intelligent modes, hovers perfectly, even when i call his name ,he will come. Listens better then my wife.
If problems in future ,i will report

Just updated firmwareV01.04.0300,Controller &Dji Goggles. Using Dji assistant 2. Everything went on great. Now to try and see how she flys tomorrow

Went very well, took about 20 mins.

It did reset my settings.

After update the aircraft is not stable in hovering

Calibrate the IMU and Compass after. This is mainly an issue with the IMU related sensors.

This is incorrect. It is V01.04.0300
Also I find it hard to believe that the photo format is the only thing fixed.  Please share the rest of the story. tnx.

Did the update... took me 16 minutes from start of download and completing the update... now charging batteries... go out and fly when finished...
