Anyone with an Apple know how to launch this drone Manually?

By launch you mean start P3 and lift off? Can't you just move both sticks towards lower center to start it up then go? I'm pretty sure I did that with my P3 earlier today.

No, the motors will not turn on. Everything looks like it wants to but nothing  happens.

The initial pairing needs to happen using the app. I was not able to fly mine either until I did the initial pairing using the ANDROID app. Now I can fly without the app.

See if someone can let you use their android device for initial setup and registration and then you should be good.

Ah, you are right. I didn't realize I did the initial connection first through my S6.
Seems odd you NEED a device with the app to get going.

Thanks for the heads up, I know a few people that owe me a favor.

That forces you to register the P3 before you start flying it. The 1 year warranty period stats after registration.

Very sad ... I got my Phantom 3 professional paperweight today .... now I wait for the app to be ready.  No flying for me today.
