Its been a while since I've flown my P3P. I updated all the FW yesterday and took it out to fly and got the distance height restriction. I always put my device in airplane mode before I fly so a call won't interrupt my flight. Do I have to leave the device connected to the Internet the entire time I'm flying now so I won't get this restriction?

Log out of the app, then log back in.

With the drone connected and ready to fly before I take off are you saying close the app and reopen it?

Log out of the DJI GO app and then log back in.

Go to "me" section and log completely off.

Click "me" bottom right hand corner
Click settings symbol upper right hand corner
Click "sign out" at bottom of page

I have had this issue in the past, and all I did was land the craft after confirming that I was not in beginner mode i went back flying and all was well.

Hi you don't need to stay connected to the internet, that should work without it. May I know if you are getting any error message.

If this helps, I use a non-internet enable table when flying (I do however before I leave home, always log out of the DJI Go application, then back in). I have never had an issue with distance when not flying in beginners mode.
