Hey there, the specifications Phantom 3 say, that there is a CE and a FCC mode: FCC: 20 dBm CE: 16 dBm How will this affect the range of the drone? Will it be changeable in the software like it is in the P2? Does this anybody know? Thanks for an answer.

1) The CE and FCC setting is predetermined and shipped according to the ordering countries.

2) But the RC compatible with both CE & FCC, and they are both tested can reach 2km range in the open area.

3) It can not be change manually .

I am getting inconsistent answers from dji support. Dji support America says that the output power can be adjusted by selecting the region within the pilot app.  Dji support China however states,  that they ship different versions according to the location.

The official p3 contains a section saying that the controller is both CE and FCC conform, which rather speaks for the adjustable power?

It's my understanding that the output is adjusted by your GPS location.

So we've got three different opinions here...
