Thanks, no limit if the aircraft weighs less than 7KG. Just respect restricted airspace and don't it in silly places like over cities.

David,

You are mistaken about limits in the UK.  There are certainly restrictions  by the CAA.

Regardless of the weight classification, the the limit is 400feet vertically and 500m visual line of site.  

You need to read up on what you can and can't do with UAVs in the UK as if you don't you will, without doubt face prosecution from the CAA.

I just double checked the limits and i was mistaken, I had previously looked them up so not sure where i got that from.

Irrespective of that, i never really fly high as a rule anyway and think i was probably close to 400ft in here but cant say for sure i broke the rule on this occasion.

I will bear 500m line of sight and 122m high in mind on all my future filming.

Thanks for correcting me on this as i always try to fly safe and within the law.
