OK everyone, I'm presently flying a Mavic Pro with an iPhone 5se, and now getting the CPU overload errors etc. I feel it's time to upgrade iPhone (and yes, locked into the fan boi ecosystem) so, hoping for some thoughts around what handset to upgrade to ... I'm thinking iPhone 7 cause of the chip-set, but would love to hear thoughts form the Mavic community - what are you all using? iPhone X is probably outside of my current budget. Over to you!

iPhone 7 works just fine, the Plus if you can or the 8 Plus if you can stretch to it. If you want a larger viewing experience the iPad Mini 4 works well too and fits into the arms, just!

I use an iPhone 7+ - no issues at all flying my MPP.

... and just to give some closure to this thread, ended up running with an iPhone 8 plus, primarily due to the screen real-estate, but also the new generation CPU .... can't wait to give it a thrashing!
