What is the connection on the back of the Air for.
I read its not for charging
So can I offlosd my video and pictures by connecting from it to my PC ?

So i can connect to my iMac to offload footage ?

Use it to connect to PC/Mac to upgrade firmware via Assistant 2 in case you habe trouble updating via RC-DJI Go 4.

Let's make it clear: YES it is for transfering the video and picture to your computer, and to update the drone firmware.

Just got it today. Read the leaflets with it and watched all the DJI videos. Nothing there.
Ill download online manuals tomorrow and read that lot too.
Its not that I'm lazy just using the Forums for intended purpose Captain.

All i see is "USB-C port"

But the small cables are only used to connect the smartphone to the rc and only for charging (the data transfer between smartphone/rc is done over Wifi). Right?

Nop, via small micro usb. It is different from Spark. It is similar to Mavic Pro

No, with the cable connection you don't need WiFi between your mobile device and the RC.
