Reflow this one component which i think is the regulator , will require an air solder iron 400c for a few seconds .With circuit board turned over this 8 leg component sits immediately next to the rubber boot which covers the 5 display lights. If you are not familiar with this solder iron please test on an old circuit board.

I did it and all working fine now.
Need some of you to try and confirm. your results.If you repair your charger please post here to let others know.
