I'm using Mavic Air. Please help, I'm not able been successfully took a single Panoramic photo with my mavic air, when  want to take panorama 360 photo it said "Capture failed, shooting is currently not permitted." and I'm NOT in Sport mode and l not in individual unlocking zone. What is is issue?

Correction I'm NOT in Sport mode, typo.

Are you trying to do an Intelligent Mode shot? If so, you can’t in Sport Mode. From the manual;

S-mode (Sport): In S-mode the aircraft uses GPS only for positioning and the Forward and Backward Vision Systems are disabled. As such, the aircraft is not able to sense and avoid obstacles and Intelligent Flight Modes are not available.

No I'm not is SPORT mode.

I answered you in the other forum. Top right, warning. Change your SD card to a U3 card....

Why SDcard have to do with pano photos? Even I use internal memory I still can't took any pano mode.

The picture you have above, shows an error with the SD card.
If you switch to internal storage and still have the error, can you post a screenshot of that?

What firmware are you running on both AC and RC?

I'm using latest firmware, but before this firmware I also can't take any panorama photos. Here the screen shot even using internal memory.

Try to set your WiFi channel select to CUSTOM.
Select a free channel (no matter 2.4 GHz or 5.8 GHz) and try again.

Sounds strange, but that's what worked with me ...

Update: It seems the problem could be wind influence. Once the AC exceeded a specific attitude threshold, the pano sequence can not be engaged.

I'm not getting any good news guys...

DJI also not replying my emails...

I give it try again on my lunch time, since yesterday night I noticed when it took off not hovering as my knee or my thigh height, it's hovering 2 meters above me.
I try pulling it down the aircraft, but it went up again.

But that is not my concerned, my concerned is I still not able to take any panorama photos. I use iPhone 6 with fresh new DJI Go 4 app from Apple store, use internal memory or external sdcard are same.

And in iPhone 6 with iOS 11.2.5 I can't sync my flight record into my iPhone 6.
As you can see the screenshot, the moment reached 100 perfect it said "Sync Failed. Retry", i did many times also same. This is fresh installation twice for DJI Go 4 in my iPhone 6. The first time also same, can't sync, but at that time I only had Spark.

How can be possibly so much difficult to take panorama photos??

I'm getting frustrated with my Mavic Air, and there is no quick response from DJI.

Problem solved.

Refresh the current firmware via DJI Assistant 2 or by downgrading to the previous firmware and upgrade it again to the latest.

I've had a similar issue today with my Mavic Air, I could not get it to take a spherical pano shot.  I tried many combinations of settings, but no matter what happened, it always resulted in the "not permitted" message.  The only consistent thing, was that the wind was about 15knots, so perhaps it is linked directly to that.

You can't beat a nice descriptive error message, to help diagnose a problem!  DJI should consider putting why it isn't permitted in the message....

Try turning off maximum distance. I know this sounds stupid but it fixed it for me when I was having a similar issue with the Spark.

Same here..try to take panorama horizontal..capture fail...the area is not restricted..what the hell matter with it...??
