Hi All,

just got my mavic air on Friday and immediately run into a problem. I brought it home, fully charged all batteries and started preparing for the first flight. I have activated the drone and updated all ( drone, controller and 3 batteries). Yesterday I took it out for the maiden flight and got esc status error: (No.1 ESC error and No.2 ESC error)

Tried restarting many times, same thing. Has anyone faced this issue on a brand new mavic air ? The drone did not even had 1 take off

I did the IMU clibration, nothing helped.
One strange thing I have observed, the controller firmware version is different then version of the craft (drone FW is 01.00.0200 and controller 01.00.0100).
I have tried connecting only controller (with the drone switched off) and the DJI GO4 app says the FW is current.
All motors are rotating freely and are rotating the same way during the startup of the drone.
What should be the FW version of the controller ?
Is there any other thing I can try before returning the drone ?

Return it to who you bought it from for a refund and get another. Don’t let dji try to “fix” it.

I too would return it for a brand new replacement
