Hi everyone, We are new in this forum. We want to know how to do a typical mapping mission, but including RAW photos and AEB mode (bracketing). We have been trying some apps, like gs dji, pix4d capture, litchi, but we haven´t found an app that offers these options (RAW and bracketing while doing a mapping mission). We´ve heard about Map Pilot fot DJI, it permites mapping with RAW photos, but we haven´t heard about bracketing on this app...... Somebody here knows how to do that?? Thanks

I haven't heard of any application that supports this functionality. Most likely it is due to the fact that most systems can't write 3 images fast enough to the memory card. So in other words, unless you have a really high quality camera and a fast memory card this functionality is difficult to achieve. It might be possible with some platforms and JPEG mode but RAW images are even larger file size.

If you could find a program to shoot raw+AEB while mapping, you'd have trouble mapping anything except small areas as writing the digital files would take so long.
The drone would have to wait for the writing to catch up.
The other reason mapping apps don't shoot AEB or raw is that they are both unnecessary for mapping.
Leave AEB+raw for artistic sunsets but use jpg for mapping.

I use my p4p pro v2.0 exclusively for mapping missions as I am a licensed surveyor. I use drone deploy for mission planning and flight control and pix4d for processing. While I'm not familiar AEB mode the photos are all geo tagged and stored on the sd card inside the drone. If you are truly interested in drone mapping this solution has served me well.
