I got my Spark a few weeks ago and I'm super happy with it. Since it's my first quad, before buying it I spent a lot of time watching videos, reading reviews and learning about the regulations for drones flying. I'm in Canada and there is a 90-meter (AGL) altitude limit in Transport Canada's regulations and I really wondered if it was worth it, to buy a drone if I could "only" fly 90 meters high. What did it look like from this altitude?
So when I finally got it I thought I'd make my own video, maybe it can help fellow canadians. Subject is an old decomissioned incinerator in my neighborhood. Even before receiving the Spark I planned to fly above it. I made some research and the chimneys are registered as 75 meters tall. This edit only shows the Spark going up 90 meters high up to the top of the chimneys.
The rest of the footage was not something I really wanted to show. Despite all the time I spent flying RC planes in the past this is my first quadcopter. I try to train as often as I can to get prettier and more cinematic shots. I just received a pack of ND filters today, can't wait to try them.
In the meantime, here's another picture showing the incinerator in another angle.

Great work and nice to see from 90m
Watch out for show though.
Might not be a problem this time, but water + motors don't match sometimes
Hah, you're right. Worst part is that I know that. I just couldn't wait to try and fly the thing. I feel like a child.. Thanks for reminding me to be careful ;)
It's always like that during winter. Either snowy and "warmer" or sunny and cold. I usually love winter but this time around I can't wait for spring to go fly my quad!

I'll make sure to post more. It's still winter so it's not always super easy but we should get a few nice hours in the weekend. Fingers crossed!
