Here's a short video now that I have all the issues worked out, except for being stuck in PAL mode. Spot metering feature also doesn't seem to work from the current android version of the Pilot app but other than being stuck in pal mode and not being able to have spot metering work everything else seems fine.
The camera is a big improvement over the one in the P2 V+ but it still suffers from a lot of that cameras problems just to a much lesser degree. It tends to overexpose things and even in normal mode the sharpening is not good. I think shooting in soft mode and then doing a bit of touch up sharpening in the editor will be the way to go.
Anyways here's a short PAL mode 3840x2160/25p video from the first day -
I think your video is fantastic Roger! I don't find it overexposed at all to be honest. I know YouTube compresses video files to a certain degree, so you can't see exactly what the original video is like but from what I've seen I'd be more than happy with that. Is there an exposure adjustment you can make manually using the Pilot app to darken it a little perhaps?

Watched it on a HD 32 inch at 720p and 1440p and could really tell a difference. But 1140p and 2160 ...
If you're viewing on a 1440p monitor the 1440p and 2160p files will look more or less the same just because you don't have the pixels to show any increased clarity.
For what it's worth, all the 4K footage I've seen on my new Dell P2415Q is fantastic. All I need now is my Phantom 3 to get here so I can do some filming of my own.
Looks great! I cannot wait to get mine, supposedly on Tuesday. And yes, I am actually going to buy an android device in order to be able to use it until the Apple app gets finished.
