Hi does anyone know if I can use an android phone on my transmitter to view what I am filming

as well as my friend seeing and controlling the gimbal from a seperate android tablet?

Sorry Michael, only one device can be connected to the V+ at a time.
If you want dual screens and control of the gimbal you need to look at the Inspire 1.

Several devices can be connected to the Phantom but only the first one will get the FPV and gimbal control.  One option around this issue is to mirror the screen of the first device to the second device so the first device will have the full control and the second will see what the first one has on the screen. However note that this will introduce some additional lag to the second device.

To capture your screen you can use Mobizen.  I do not know a way to connect another screen to it.

I used a tablet with HDMI output to be connected to portable 9 inches monitor.
