Does the Mavic Air Have portrait mode for taking pictures? I know for the Mavic Pro you just swipt on the screen and the camera will turn 90 degrees. Does the mavic air not have that option? Is it only set for landscape mode for pictures?

The camera cannot turn on the side, so no.

And this is another reason why the Mavic Air should be called Spark Pro.

Landscape only, haven’t seen one portrait picture posted on this forum from Mavic Pro , so I guess it doesn’t get used much, I think it’s much better to have a stable gimbal, than the one on Mavic Pro that feels like it’s hanging on a thread, try shooting portrait in pano mode it’s much better.

We do have vertical pano, but I've not tried it to see how well it works. Maybe they think that is a nice replacement?

From last year with the Mavic Pro.  I keep all my old drones, but wish the Mavic Air also had this mode as I prefer stills over video.

I actually try to use it quite often now.

You look at all the popular images on Instagram and they mostly seem to be portrait mode.
