I believe this is the SDK for the Inspire 1 as well as the Phantom 3.

I can not wait for Pix4d to release their App and I am sure it will be quick.

Same here! Flying a hand drawn grid pressing the photo capture button sporadically isn't as cool as automating it.

Where are you seeing this?

Why don't you use the 5 second time lapse photo option?  You can calculate the ideal horizontal speed to obtain the ~70-80% overlap and not have to worry at all about pushing the capture button sporadically.  The image sensor on the camera is ~3000x4000.  If your desired GSD (Ground Sample distance) is say 1" (2.54 cm) then each image is ~250' (3000/12) Tall by 333.3' (4000/12) wide.  So to obtain ~80% overlap means ~50 ft of new area is added  and 200 feet was duplicated from the previous image.  If the image is taken every 5 seconds, you have 5 seconds to fly 50' or 10' per second.  You maintain a consistent Horizontal speed and you can easily capture what is needed with out any guessing or Sporadicness.

Definitely a good idea! I'll try it out next time.  Hoping to be able to use the Pix4d app fairly soon and not have to worry about it.
