Samsung galaxy tab 4 10.1 works perfect

Just got my P3 today. I side loaded DJI Pilot to use on a Kindle Fire hd 7 (4th generation) but am getting no video signal. It flies and records just fine but I can't see it. The app version is 1.0.10 and the new version isn't available from the 1mobile app I used for side loading. Any ideas on how and where you can side load version 1.1.0? I'm hoping that the problem is simply an incompatibility issue and not something more serious, but already owning an older i-pad, an iphone 5 and a Kindle Fire (all of which are incompatible) I'm not keen on having to have to buy yet another device.

Works perfectly with my One Plus One. I have a P3A.

Nexus 7 2nd gen works fantastic.

Works great on my Note 4 with a custom Lollipop rom with pilot app 1.1.0

Confirmed working on my LG G3 if anyone's wondering.

How did you get your G3 to work?  I've updated and I don't get the registration.  The gimbal responds but no video or information through the app.

I have got it working on an old Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 1GB RAM running kitkat, it's not perfect but it works.

Note 4 working fine. Android 5.0 Pilot 1.1.0

I'm flying a P3P with both a Galaxy Note 4 (Android 5.0) and a Galaxy Tab 8.4 (not handy to check OS version). I did notice that on the Note 4 yesterday that when using  the camera in manual settings mode that the small camera EV/Speed/ISO settings window seemed to be covering my map swapping window and  I may have had to revert to camera auto to get to the maps. I'll try this again soon but I plan to map the Custom button on the right bottom to switch between map and camera views anyway so this could be a non-issue if it was the case.

Was using iPhone 5s but wanted bigger screen and don't want ipad.   Went to verizon store today got Ellipses 8 for $30 (+$10 per month)  works great. Made sure to test it in store,  brought my p3a with me and did a demo for the guys at the store.

I have Samsung Galaxy 8.4,   It works just perfect

I use the Samsung galaxy note 4 edge.. works fine.

I bought a cheap LG Gpad 7. The white one. It is as if it was made for the Phantom 3. Very responsive, good image quality, runs like a charm.

I am using Nexus 10 (works fine) I hope HDMI output works also with my DVR (ordered new cable HDMI to AVR)
My Nexus 5 as mentioned before works also but screen is smaller than the Nexus 10(hi)

Galaxy Tab3 and Droid Turbo both work well.  The Droid Turbo is more stable......but, smaller screen

Make sure Phone is in PTP Mode and not MTP Mode

Samsung Galaxy tab S 10.5, SM-T800, 16Gb, ver.: 4.4.2, works perfect, same on ver. 5.0.2

Works with my Nexus 10 running Lollipop.  HDMI output works as well.

Were you able to get the Samsung Tab S 10" to fit in the stock holder? I bought the 10" and it didn't fit mine so had to return and get the Tab S 8.4", fits perfect and works great.

Is yours with WIFI or WIFI/4LTE

Acer Iconia Tab 8, running Kit Kat, works fine. P3A

Using a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and it works fine.

Only issue is screen brightness...I can''t see it in the sunlight.  I can on my iphone 6 luckily.

My G Pad is a LG G Pad 7.0 V400 Wi-Fi 8GB . I put nothing else on it except the DJI app. I have to clear the disk space regularly by removing the cached videos because there is only about 4 GB left to use of the advertised 8GB. Some apps can be installed on the micro SD card. Unfortunatly the DJI app and its contents are all written on the main disk. But as I said, it works perfectly.

Thanks.  I got it to work.  I wasn't paying attention to when I plugged in the usb to what was on the screen.  Thank You!

Note 4 works. But now getting video lag while flying. Unit gets hot. Has gotten worse wioth latest firmware it seems.

Seems to be working fine with my acer irconia 8  i bought on CL for $50

I also have an Iconia A1 which works well, however, can't see the screen for the glare!

Nvidia Shield 16gb works great.
downloaded app via DJI website and installed as an .apk file. App has not cutout on me and is nice and smooth. (freshly wiped tablet to ensure minimal background apps running) HDMI out on the shield is perfect while waiting for the upgrade hdmi out for controller. HDMI lead goes to a small ebay video convertor to RCA video out staright to fatshark goggles work perfect and get all the telemtry data on screen too. if you open the pilot app without the phantom on you can go into settings and select whether or not you want telemetry data on the hdmi out. this option dissapears once you fire up the phantom?? maybe this is for the inspire and they'll release this option once the hdmi upgrade comes out..

I got a Dragon Touch M8, 8" tablet running KitKat. $90 from Amazon, HDMI out, GPS, 1280x800 decent screen, fast processor -- installed & ran Pilot app flawlessly on the firs try, solid connection to aircraft.

Initially tried my Nexus 7(2013) with the app downloaded from the DJI site - worked OK but found it to be rather laggy. Sought advice from other forums and spoke to a techie at my local DJI dealer and have settled on the Nvidia Shield - very smooth, no lag, great screen size, very happy.

My tab 4 shows disconnected when I try to use it. My iPad and Iphone both work OK and show current firmware installed on P3.
Update: I found the instructions to enter the developer mode so I can do the USB debug. Working fine now. I found the build number under Settings, General, About Device. Click on the build number until it tells you how many more times will turn on the developer mode. allow USB debug and you should be good to go.

Using Sony Xperia Tablet Z2 and experience video lagg issues, crashed one time. Uses most of the time 85% CPU power. Using latest DJI firmware and Android Kitkat 4.4.4

Works great. GPU enabled for 2D under developers options.

*1.1.0 adds Director features to Home screen and support for Phantom 3 in the "Support"/help option;
However, voice and audible in flight feedback are not functional in this version. (They do work in 1.0.11).

I use a LG G2 running  android 5.0.2  At first I had some problems, was stuck in beginner mode so you could not fly more than 100 feet away. Removed pilot app and reloaded it working  now. I'm headed out to test fly it now, will post after flight.
