Can the rc sticks be replaced?

I'm a pincher and find the rc stick springs way too hard.
Replacing the sticks with longer and thinner ones (normal ones) would help a lot.
They don't seem to unscrew easily.
Is it possible?

Those sticks seem to be bonded in, but if you are not afraid to cut the heads off, you could then use some tubing over the old stump to make an extension.

Good idea. That kept me going.
There isn’t a clean spot for cutting.

It seems the mavic pro rc is made the same way.
I have searched further:
On the earliest batch for mavic pro, they could be pulled out. Not on later ones:

Home made stick extenders:

There are a few commercial ones, but they are thicker.

These may be the best, but I need a 3d printer:

I will see what I can find around.
Thanks.

Update:
I Just bought a 3dprinter and made the extenders from thingiverse.

Much better for me. Almost comparable to the sticks of a normal rc.
Smooter control, which could be great if dji decides to unlock expo settings.

Just like in the thingiverse link above. Here is one of mine. It fits well (no glue needed):

You could use some Sugru to add some size to the existing sticks.  You mold it like clay and it dries to a rubbery finish.

Yes, sugru is great stuff. Highly recommanded. May even stick without touching the rubber rings.
I always have some in the fridge. (Why did I forget that?)
