i bought an dji spark and had alot of fun with it, until i went to fly further.....
when i reached about 100meter the app sad i have weak transmission signal. i fly with the rc so i dont know what i am doiing wrong?
pleas help!

Short:
iOS or Android?
iOS: plug a otg cable in and try again
Android: downgrade Go4 App to 4.1.15 and try again

check your PM

check your antenna deployment angle(s) on the rc. the 45 degree detent works best for me, with flat sides parallel to the rc housing. makes more a difference than you'd think.

The " weak transmission signal"-warning has almost nothing to do with the angle of the antennas.
It has something to do with using the DJI Go4 app in wifi mode to the RC!
Because it almost never happens when otg connected. On my androids, at least.
And it happened all the time on the latest Go4 wifi connected
Even if it is only a warning but all stays fine: OTG let the warning go away!

not disagreeing with your very astute assessment in the least bit. merely pointing out something that a new user might overlook which is far simpler than rolling back fw and obtaining additional hw.

jos A solved my problem he gave me a modded app from dji and it solved the problem. before that i tried with otg and it didnt made any differnce. the restrictions in Belgium are just set to a distance about 200m now its modded and can fly 2km

In my case it only charges the mobile phone from the rc like a powerbank.

Enable "USB debugging" in "developer options" and turn on the "Debugging" in GO 4 as well

debugging in go 4.1.15? i search the option... is there a influance of the firmware version of the rc?

I have a different Step to do.

I tried the connection with two device settings

Device setting 1
( For flying )
- RC connected SGS4 / Android 5.0.1
- “DJI Go 4” app V. 4.2.6 (526-googlePlay)

Device setting 2
( for mobile editing movies and so on )
- Spark connected with IPad Air 2 Wifi+  64GB / iOS 11.2.5
- “DJI Go 4” app V. 4.2.6 (3084) in German

Both connected via Wifi... But to fly it is really better to connect a display via cable so i tried to find a solution for me.

I Added a different device Setting with the iPad

Device setting 3
( For flying )
- RC connected with IPad Air 2 Wifi+  64GB / iOS 11.2.5
- Connection Hama OTG USB micro B to USB 2.0 A + Original Lightning to USB 2.0 A
- “DJI Go 4” app V. 4.2.6 (3084) in German

There is a perfect connection on the Tablet. I wonder since wich IPhone does the connection work that fine.
perhaps it is a working idea to buy a old iphone for displaying via ebay

In A Few weeks a friend will visit me with a old IPhone 3GS and we willl test the connection setting 3 with the IPhone instead the IPad.
Does anyone know wich IPhone will work to display the flight?
Does it work with every IPhone since IPhone 5?

weak signal GPS signal everytime I fly how can you help me pls.i bouth this a month ago here in the Philippines after the GPS satellite was lost sometimes gps not stable??

I seem to be having the same issue as this user and wondered if you still had that working version of the app.

I can fly 100 meters with no issues then constantly getting told it has no signal over both WiFi and OTG cable
