Just bought a p4a from best buy,  got home all excited and pulled everything out.   I bought a spare battery and charged it first,  after I went to charge the battery that cane in the phamtom, and nothing.   No lights nothing.  Battery is dead..

well it's after best buy closed so not sure what you do I hope they don't make me return the whole drone, it was the only one that store had in stoke.

You could also put it in the battery box and say it was DOA.

Have you tried to charge it for 1 hours? If it persists, you can refer to the link below to contact DJI Support, then send it in for diagnosis and replace.

I left the battery on the charger over nite and nothing.   Battery is dead,  I'll call best buy in a couple hours.   I'd rather just run it back up there if they will replace it

That will be much quicker and less stressful than dealing with DJI service.

Same exact story here. Bought an advanced to hang out with my standard last week at B.B.  battery in aircraft was DOA. Extra battery was fine. Just put the bad one in the box and exchanged it. Took 5 minutes. No issues. Good luck.

Same with me, 1st one DOA. Took it back to Best Buy and exchanged it, I opened the new one at the service counter and that was DOA too! They ended up swapping out batteries with a new one. Still a pain driving there twice and wasting time!
