Does anyone else notice that the Mavic air props rub against the body when it's folded up. Over time this is going to spoil the finish of the body. Any ideas what can be done to protect it?

Yes, the protective stickers when delivered rang my bell. If you are worried about rub damage you could skin the drone, some nice ones have hit the market already.

Do you want to put on display or do you want to use it to capture nice images from above? Be prepared to collect some wear and tear when using it

just from folding the arms ?  I've seen the ones caused when props touched the body while in full spin which is understandable, but hard to believe they get scratched up while folding

I've got tiny marks on mine already. It doesn't bother me that much, it's just that the air is a beautiful looking drone as well as being a great device so it would be a shame for it to be ruined by a couple of ugly marks.

Well spotted Beta Testers, lets hope a fix is in place before the masses start to buy  

It's been the same with the Mavic Pro's ever since they were released.  Really not a big problem but if your worried I would just slide a piece of paper between the body and props when storing.

paint the area with clear nail polish.

The lowest / widest part of the prop just touches the shiny silver body and you can see the wear already. Not an issue for me.

If it's a concern then remove the props during transport and storage. Problem solved.

Wrap the props every time you fold it.

Buy some 3M vinyl paint protection, wrap your drone. It'll be nearly invisible and it'll protect the drone.

There are a lot of skins on AliExpress

Realize that the case that comes with the Air is NOT a hard case.
If tossed in a backpack or back pocket, the props will be rubbed against the top of the bird since the case will transfer outside pressure inward.
That is the likely cause of any chafing / rubbing.
