Why is there no mention of the DJI_Win10 driver in this thread? Surely someone still has a link to it?

Perhaps superseded with the later versions of Assistant 2. Installing using 'run as administrator', I've not had problems installing or using Assistant 2 on Win 10 Pro and my P4 or Mavic.

Not a good idea if you Surf the Internet.
Better to have two accounts Admin (root) and regular user.
Or give your regular user account Admin (su) when needed.

Setting aside risks from the Internet, running as a regular user can keep prevent you from catastrophic computer commands.  Like erasing critical files.

oh please dude, My avatar of myself might make you think i don't know diddley $h1t so go preach to someone else and mind your elders. I think it is best you not reply to my posts and same for me to yours. You seem to have an argue fetish or something so go on and argue with someone else. If someone finds you the it doesn't matter how many accounts you have on your machine, they will find them all if they want too. Gives people practice to go start from scratch and wipe the drive because they didn't backup to another drive bwahaha

Didn't reply to you to start an argument.  Purpose was a heads up warning to you, and anyone who did not understand ramifications of doing what you stated.

Nothing about "finding you".  Issue is, when surfing internet as Admin (or root), you are enabling malicious code to potentially act with Admin (root) privilege.  Whereas when surfing internet as regular user, malicious code has to find a way to escalate its privileges.

You want to run that way, so be it.  But others need to know that running as Admin (or root), is a potential risk.

Prey you don't get hit with malicious code that lies dormant until triggered (by date, free disk space, uptime, remote response, etc.) - being every back-up from time mailicious code was seeded, will be next to fruitless.

In regards to backup to another drive, if a person values their data (videos, photos, etc.) they should have more than one, and rotate backups.

No.  What I was saying is you were putting forth a practice that opens door to malicious code running as Admin (or root) without need of having to find a way to elevate from regular user priveleges.  People who do not know the risk, could follow that practice, under assumption it was competnet computer practice.

When did having computer backups and/or backups of important data become a '90's 'fashion'', and according to you now a former Fad?

You're way to paranoid my friend. If you don't go to the porn sites et all you're fine. I have never had a virus since i have been online back in the old Windows 3.1 days so i must be doing something right. No reason everyone else cannot do the same.
I can hear your mother calling you time for bed.

Ok then we could try this:

1. download Driver Store Explorer https://github.com/lostindark/DriverStoreExplorer/releases/tag/v0.9.5

Hello, I tried to do this procedure, but when executing the cd command C: \ Program Files (x86) \ DJI Product \ DJI Assistant 2 \ Drivers
DriverSetup64.bat, it appears that "The system can not find the path specified".

Can you help me?

Hi All,

I'm very happy that it was helpful. By the way I changed my nick on forum, before I was d.a.v.i.d then I registered to DJI shop and it got changed to djiuser_J8pTkMaNyi6H and I put now DH_Pilot as my nick. Feel free to let me know if any help is needed.

IIRC that's because it references a path SYSNATIVE which does not exist in Windows 10.
I changed it to, using a copy of the bat file
pnputil -i -a ".\fdt\ftdibus.inf"
pnputil -i -a ".\fdt\ftdiport.inf"

pnputil -i -a ".\VCOM\dji_vcom_driver11.inf"
REG DELETE "HKLM\Hardware\Devicemap\Serialcomm" /v Winachsf0 /f

pnputil -i -a ".\Vision\Vision_(Interface_3).inf"

pnputil -i -a ".\winusb\x64\winusb.inf"

pnputil -i -a ".\STM_VCOM\stmcdc.inf"

pnputil -i -a ".\ADBDriver\android_winusb.inf"

pnputil -i -a ".\rockusb\x64\win7\rockusb.inf"

pnputil -i -a ".\CP210x\slabvcp.inf"

@echo off
echo please reboot your system!

rem shutdown -r

That seemed to work for me as I did the 560 update for the MA over assistant 2. YMMV.

Yes Ken Storm is correct it is enough to remove %windir%\Sysnative\ from all pnputil commands.

@DJI, could you please address this in next release of DJI assistant?

Just a note from one who has very little experience with drivers but, the driver needed for the craft IS recognized by Windows-7, but Windows-10 will put it in but does not honor it as it notes with TRIANGLE and exclamation mark.  That is because of the signature on the driver, and the security in Windows-10 will not use it, what needs to be done is remove the security for one install, then it will put it in and it can be used for THAT install.

FYI I "resolved" this issue by simply changing the USB cable...seems so dumb because the cable was charging so i assumed it was good but as soon as I used a different MicroUSB cable it worked right away.....

Which basically says to me that you never had the issue which was first reported by Wachtberger in this thread a year ago. That issue was definitely a driver matter which affected many, including myself - now resolved.
