I hope I made the right decision, but I sold my F550 to pay for the P3. I was worried about losing the stability of the 6 props, but from the videos I've seen thus far the gimbal does a hell of a job! I ordered through Amazon, so won't see it until mid-May

You will not miss the other 2 arms.  Much easier to transport.

I agree on portability, but the one thing you lose going from a hex to quad is the redundancy. A hex can still land and fly in the event a motor goes out. A quad... well good luck. In any case, I'm excited to get home from my business trip tomorrow since my P3 Pro is waiting for me at home. Just home the iOS app is available then (or at least Saturday... pls DJI and Apple!)
