Thx Wachtberger....
The MA is very fun to fly, and I enjoy it a little more than the Spark, although I'm not 100% I understand why.
It is very stable, but so was my Spark and my Phantom is as well....at this point, that is table stakes for a DJI drone.
I do find the Air to be very responsive, and although on paper it is faster than the Spark, I really seem to notice it when doing fly by's.....it is FAST.
In this, my second set of flights, I did notice 2 things.
First, on my first attempt at "Circle" quickshot; there was a very odd glitch. I drew the box around me on screen and got the green "Go", but the Air actually circled a point in front of me about 10 feet and slightly to the right. As far as I could tell, it was circling around a non-existent object. As you can see, there was nothing around me in the field. When it was done with shot, I tried it again and it worked fine.
Second, I get a LOT of messages on the screen for DJI Go 4 app that is warning me that the attitude is too great and the front (and rear) sensor won't work. I understand the physics and why that would be a problem, what I don't understand is why I never (I'm pretty sure NEVER) got those with the Spark or my Phantom. Maybe because the Spark had different sensors on the front vs. the Air? Maybe the Air has a more aggressive angle at speed?
None of those things is a big problem, just a bit odd.
As stated, I really love my MA and very pleased with my purchase. One of the coolest things IMHO, is the shoulder bag and the size of the whole package. I can fit everything I need in the shoulder bag. It holds my Air with a battery, and room for 3 additional batteries, and the remote. With the side pouch, I'm pretty sure I can fit my CS, but need to verify (right now I can't use my CS).
Walking up to flight site only carrying that little bag blows me away!
Cheers...
