For some time, I've wanted to fly close to things, but simply have not had the courage to do it. Here are my first tries, all of which ended well. Wish there had been a little sunshine, but the sun just will not show up when I'm out with my Mavic Pro.

Wonderful video.  Flying close to objects makes for interesting videos  and worth a mall risk, especially when the objects are not too high.

Nice it gives and extra touch, did you use Tripod mode or? Happy flying

I am the same way at times, trying to fly as close as I can with the sensors off.  Nice flying.

It also will be worth a look. In fact, I decided moments later that I would never repeat that stupid "stunt". Even when I look at that clip, I can feel it all the way down to my precious parts. I did it - but never again.

You are all welcome to guess on what I did. It was completely legal, but in retrospect - quite dumbfounded.

"Close to beach" is probably relative. But in comparison to many other places in the world, I am basically close to the beach, no matter where in my country I am. In fact, I'm too seldom at the beach - maybe I should visit it in the near future... with my drone, implicitly.

Ahh... that also makes better sense in this context.

Very nice indeed, a little too close for comfort at times but it does make the shot I have to agree.

It is very nerving flying close to things. I tried flying near some large chimneys and water towers today and erred on the side of caution! The close up shots seem to provide great views!

Always trying to stay on the right side of the boundary between daring and stupidity. In my next video, however, I was extremely close to a drone disaster. More about it later.
