I bought my M210  20.10.2017 and I get compass error/GPS error every single flight to the point of not being safe to fly.[EDIT]
The drone was exchanged for a new one on 12.12.2017, same issues as above.

Require a decent flying camera for wind turbine blade inspections and not confident that dji can give me a reliable platform so must wait until the problems are resolved!

Please connect the drone to DJI Assistant 2 to export the corresponding data which you encountered the compass error to us for analysis, you could upload the data to Dropbox or Google Driver and post the link to us, thanks for your cooperation very much.

We do fly it almost exclusively with those batteries. I'm not really excited to throw out $2000 worth of TB55s though.

I think it could be due to the extra overload of TB55.
So, it means it could also appears more often if there is windy or by flying stronger.

I've also noticed, it appears when I fly really fast: I manually switch to ATI (enabled me to reach max speed) and then I go straight for few seconds... and then it appears..

My conclusion is the issue depends of the way you use M200 / M210.
It depends how the UAV is balanced, how the UAV is loaded.
It depends how windy it is.

If you use TB55 or TB50, single or dual gimbal, 1 or 2 camera, if using heavy X5S / Z30 or light X4S... results should changes.

Thanks for the patience, our engineers have analyzed the log you provided and have found that the compass issue still persists in a tiny minority drone after the last firmware, we are working on optimizing the firmware and will release a new one as soon as possible, we apologize again for the trouble caused.

What is the point?!
You told us the same thing there are 4 month ago, and our UAV are grounded, and dangerous for humans & material around. High risk of Flying Away with and sometimes need to land in ATI mode because GPS Disconnect (with a 20k$ solution : this is crazy)

And what's happens if the next firmware doesn't still fix the issue?!
We spend 10-30k$ and we can't trust anymore in : "this could be firmware...."
You ll get my LOG with my dealer.
And now I would like to know what are you going to do? repair or exchange faulty M200-210?!!! how long time does it take?! and you still don't answer my question........

Thanks for reply Mindy but in my case, sending my M210 UAV to my dealer takes 1 weeks and 700$.
So transport is around 2 weeks and 1400$.
I don't have any idea about the time DJI engineers are going to take to repair or to exchange my M210.
maybe 3weeks?
If DJI realy cared and apologized for these troubles, DJI should have recall faulty M200/210 and ask dealer to exchange directly to minimize troubles that have been caused....

called DJI enterprise today re: compass error, gps loss and green video feed. was told to use dji assistant tool to factory reset the m210 firmware. reset/upgrade, etc.

if that doesn't work, was recommended to ship it to california for service. i won't fly until next weekend and if in good weather, so wo'nt know until then. however, something tells me if i ship to dji for service, i will not get a loaner uav in the meantime for my work, will i.

i guess we are adopters of a first of a kind technology for the masses
