I normally either skip or skim videos over 3 minutes, but yours was compelling. The opening was great, and that first tree's HUGE base was really fun seeing. When you shot this, were you aware of that hot air balloon in the distance? Finally, a suggestion - and please take no offense. I thought the last minute - the 360 degree turn - could have been cut without detracting from your video. EXCEPT for the last few seconds with the sun shining through the clouds like that. That shot was spectacular!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it and managed to stay until the end! Yeah I knew the balloon was there but actually didn't think it would be as visible as it turned out. I would have flown closer however there's Dunsfold airport directly in front of me about 3 1/2km away, the place where the BBC Top Gear race track is if your familiar with it.
It's fine, I'm always up for constructive criticism. I totally agree and also I thought the music went on way too long. The reason for the video was to show my girlfriend as I took her there on our first date. I thought I might as well post it here too as the views are amazing. I have better shots from that session, just didn't have enough time to edit.
The thing with this location is that on the right hand side there's a yard with tons of junk and white vans, everything has to be planned around that otherwise I could of had some amazing shots of the sun and the god rays through the clouds. |
