Has anyone flown the mavic air in Australia and tested the range? I have the spark and with a wifi connection to the remote and flying at 5.8ghz I am able to acheive about 600m before having serious transmssion issues. I'm curious what sort of range you can get with the air.

No the closer i got to the water the stronger the headwind got i was flat out at 22kph at the end so i quit while i was ahead

I did get a couple of adjust your antenna warnings but i still had solid video at 4k, next time i will try 5.8

Wow excellent range live close by might have a go myself with the Air

WOW - how did you do that?  I cannot get further than 200m with my Mavic Air.
Changed to 5.8GhZ as well.
Did you need to change any settings.
Or just stand on a really big hill/

If its running in CE modus, you do not get long distance.  FCC is the best.  Do a google search for Mavic AIR EC FCC
