Hello,

I'm trying to figure out how to lock the tilt on the Ronin M while I'm tilting the gimbal itself up and down. As the settings is now, the camera sticks facing forward, but i want it to follow my movement while tilting the gimbal itself. I know this is possible on other systems, so I wondered if its also possible with the Ronin M. All firmware is up to date on mine.

I'm attatching a clip that shows what I mean:

You literally didn't read this at all, and not what they were asking at all.

They're looking to lock the tilt, not lock it in place to balance....

I'm searching for the answer. Someone had mentioned setting the pan/tilt to 0 I think, and use tape. But that doesn't sound like the best solution.

I'll post if I figure something out.

Open up your DJI Assistant App (I'm using the android)
Open up SMOOTH TRACK
Select your "TILT SMOOTH TRACK" and turn it off and it will lock your gimbal into place!
